I was born in Taiwan and grew up in Vancouver (Canada). I've lived for four years in Brooklyn, NY, where I received a Bachelor of Industrial Design from Pratt Institute, and currently, I live in Helsinki, Finland, where I am working towards a Master Degree in Spatial Design. It is a passion of mine to live and experience as many places as possible. Everyday I am stimulated by the interesting people I meet, and the unfamiliar and strange things I come across!
My obsessions.
I am obsessed with both alternative and pop cultures. Anything that is unique, but also anything that is a cultural phenomenon.
I also have a passion for collecting. I collect anything and everything, from vinyl figures to magazines and stamps. I think objects that form connections with people develop personalities, and become enriched with stories.

What I do and why I do it.
I am a cross-disciplinary Designer with interests in spaces, exhibits, and home wares. My philosophy on design is that the vision should be holistic and comprehensive. Too often design become about the “what”, rather than the “who, where, when, and how.” I love creating environments and objects that interact with context to create new experiences and personalities. I deeply believe in design that is immersed in culture and people.
My aspirations.
As a designer, I hope to create experiences that produce emotional impact. I want to create work that is saturated with empathy for humanity, but at the same time pushing the boundaries of convention. I believe my passion for design will manifest itself in any project that I take on, and will ensure the delivery of relevant and positive innovations.
